This beautiful yellow tree ready to drop it’s leaves hides the pure mayhem that preceded this moment, as tow trucks swooped in to clear the street of cars—making way for the asphalt chewing monster machine that stripped the top layer off the road.

I Woke up to the smell of smoke the other night, Ran around the house looking for fire but finally found it 4 blocks away on Oxford street in yet another fire in Kensington Market. It must have been pretty devastating. They had been trying to put it out for a long time by the time I got there and I could still see flames coming out of the roof.

Donald-Ewen-Cameron-mkultrabelieved he could save people from themselves, and by extension, the rest of us from them,  by putting them into drug induced comas which would wipe their memories and allow him to reprogram the psyche. He performed these “driving” experiments on psychiatric patients in Montreal from 1957 to 1964

“Although the patient was prepared by both prolonged sensory isolation (35 days) and by repeated depatterning, and although she received 101 days of positive driving, no favourable results were obtained.”
